Bonnie Rose Sullivan is an illustrator and educator living in Connecticut. She holds a B.F.A. and an M.F.A. in illustration, and is certified to teach PreK-12 art education.
In 2022/2023, Bonnie Rose was honored to be a recipient of a Connecticut Sea Grant Arts Support Award, as part of a federal partnership with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Bonnie is a Teaching Artist at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art and the New Britain Museum of American Art. She has also worked with the Connecticut Science Center, the Mystic Museum of Art, Manchester Community College, and the Connecticut Center for the Book at Connecticut Humanities, where she had the privilege of being a judge for the CT Book Awards from 2017-2019. She has also worked as a bookseller at the independent UCONN Co-Op bookstore, and was previously the Art Director of Community Programing & Education at the Savannah Children’s Museum in Savannah, GA. Her illustration credits include Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts, The Hartford Courant, The National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), National Education Association (NEA), Hartford Healthcare, and The Georgia State Railroad Museum (GSRM).
